General Information



  • The course will cover the physical geography of all major regions of the world, with particular focus on historical geographical development resulting in the present geopolitical landscape. Through studying different regions, students will acquire a familiarity with the various religions prevalent throughout the world, and how they differ from Christianity. We will also examine the more recent history of Africa, the Middle East, and Asia to fully grasp how those regions came to their present geographical state. By the end of this course, students will have a firm grasp on how their Christian beliefs are unique in comparison to other religions, a working knowledge of historical and modern geography, and an awareness of geopolitical shift over the past fifty years. Students will also have the opportunity to experience aspects of different cultures with hands on activities.
