The following are unsolicited testimonials from campers...
My favorite thing this summer was when I went to New Life Camp. What I love
most about camp is I made everlasting friends. Some of the fun things we did
was we made s'mores, we went fishing, and we even did low-ropes! Then you eat
lunch and the last day you would eat dinner there! But best of all was the
missionary story. So now you know how much fun you have at New Life Camp.

I was looking at the testimonials and I realized that I haven't written
one! Wow, where to begin! I started coming to New Life Camp when I was
eight. I went to day camp that year, and that was the year that I accepted
Christ. Without New Life Day Camp, I don't know where I would be. But
that's not all. My brother went to camp that same year as I did and he
accepted Christ as well. When we got home, my mother noticed a change in
both my brother's and my personalities. She wanted to know what we had that
she didn't. Well, one thing came after another, and a few years after that
summer, my mom accepted Christ as well! Now, we go to a new and totally
amazing church, we attend BSF with our parents, and Robbie and I come to
camp every time that we can. I love this camp so much and I really hope I
could be on staff when I'm older. I love the place, the people (especially
the staff!), and all the games we get to play. New Life Camp has been such
a blessing to me and it will always be like my second home. Thanks guys so
much!

Hey. I just wanted to thank you, New Life Camp. If it wasn't for you... I
probably wouldn't love God as much as I do now. This camp has taught me so
much, I can never be more thankful. New Life Camp, keep it up because this
camp knows how to change lives!!

How wonderful it was to find your page. I was telling my friends about my experience at your camp. Many years ago. And they told to look you up on the computer. So I decided I would. The very first face I saw was Mr.Bob. I started to cry. This camp was such a blessing to me. Words can never begin to describe it. I can even remember my counsellor's name. Miss Jennifer Wright. I still think of her today. She was so sweet and caring. I wish I could find her,and thank her for being so good to me. Today I am a better person because of this camp. I have been serving the lord for over 20 years. And always look back at this camp,as my way to the place I am today. So please keep up the good work. Cause you never know whose life you might change.

I just wanted to write and say how much I have enjoyed these lessons. I think my favorite was the one on giving. It reminded me that God was the one who put me here and made me who I am. Not to mention dyeing [sic] on the cross for my sake.
Thank you!

I never had the privelege [sic] of being a camper at New Life Camp. I wish I
had, but I didn't know about. However, I did have the amazing privelege [sic]
to be a counselor for two summers. Those two summers that I worked
(02-03) were probably 2 of the best summers of my life. I learned so
much and it was such a wonderful experience to get to be apart of the
wonderful work that God is doing at NLC. It was so great to get the
chance to share God's love with campers and see some of them come to
a saving knowledge of HIM. I am so glad that I got to be apart of this
wonderful camp! The staff at New Life Camp is so passionate about God and
dedicated to reaching the children of the community for Christ. Keep up
the great work y'all! And thank you for 2 wonderful summers, ones that
I know that I will never forget as long as live! My life was changed
was truly changed those two summers!! Thank you soo much!!!

There were so many positive things I remember about New Life Camp. My first
week was a bit scary because I was away from home the first time. But
the staff there made it so much fun that I continued coming back for 5
more years. I was saved when I was 12 years old at New Life camp and I
will always remember Miss Joy and Mr Bob. Going to camp not only helped me
build a closer relationship with Jesus but it really helped me to develop
a positive sense of self. I met some really wonderful people during all my
experiences there. I'm so glad that NLC is still around and I look forward
to the day when my son Andrew can experience all that NLC has to offer.

I think my first summer at New Life was 1990. I spent the next 7 or 8
summers there. New Life Camp changed my life. I accepted Christ there, and I
met people that have impacted my life in more ways than I can express. I
still think of the people I met there all the time. New Life Camp is
different than many camps because when you come here it is all about
learning about Christ and meeting friends of a lifetime. Some of the best
times of my life were spent sitting on the picnic tables by the Snack Shack.
When I think about the times in my life where I felt the most at ease and
the happiest, New Life always is at the forefront of my mind. Words can
never express what New Life did for me. And no song has ever touched me like
"We'll Be Friends Forever," and I don't think I have ever cried as much to
any one song as I did to that when we would sing it at the end of camp. New
Life Camp is definitely a little bit of Heaven on Earth.

I started new life when I was 8! I did the lesons and went every year.
I always got something out of it. I remember each month waiting for the
lesson to come and leearning something new. And the week of camp meeting
new friends and they all had the same desire as I did, to learn more
about God. When I hit my teens 1 week was not enough, I had to go twice.
I love New Life Camp and now look forward to sending my son.

At age 8, I spent my first of eight summers at NLC. I was among many
children bused to the camp from Robeson County...all because of the camp's
commitment to reaching out and ministering to children in towns, even
outside of the Raleigh-Durham area. Mr. Dave would come into our school
auditorium once per month(Piney Grove Elementary, Lumberton, NC) and teach
of Christ's love. Camp for many children from my town, could never have
been afforded, or even dreamt of. Somehow, NLC made a way to offer camp at
a reduced rate...and provided transportation for us all. There were lessons
due each month, and many bible versus to memorize in order to be eligible
for the program. But I did it! And looked forward to returning each year.
I made some life-long friends that I continue to keep in touch with today.
And in all of my life, there has never been a more profoundly positive
experience, than the time I spent at NLC.
I continued attending there for many years as a camper...and finally
becoming a "Junior Counseler", as soon as I was old enough. During my time
there, I saw thousands of children committ their lives to Christ. Each
summer, I grew more as a Christian...and as a person. To this day, I am
still amazed at the impact this "little North Carolina camp" can have on so
many lives. Thank you Bob, Debbie, Page, Bobby, Dave, Kathy and the
countless number of counselors that have dedicated their time to this
exceptional ministry. It has truly been one of the best experiences of my
life.

I attended New Life camp somewhere between the late 70's or early 80's it
was at New Life camp that I was saved and accepted Jesus. It was there that
my camp counselor talked to me about Jesus. I wish I remembered her name.
New life camp was a wonderful experience for me. I am now 33 years old with
2 children of my own and hope that one day they can attend camp and have the
experiences that I had and the memories.
- Amber Holt
In the summer of 1991 I attended NLC as an 8 year old. While there I came
under the conviction of the Holy Spirit that I was in need of salvation. A
counselor led me through the plan of salvation and I accepted Jesus as my
savior. Since then it has been ups and downs, but NLC has always been there
for me, to point me to Christ with my troubles. Jesus said that his burden
was light and his yoke was easy. It was the wonderful staff at NLC that
always encouraged me to cast my burdens unto Him. I thank God so much for
the men and women who were willing to serve him through their work at camp.
Today I am a student at Liberty University, in Lynchburg, VA, where I am
furthering my education and growing in Christ. Thank you New LIfe Camp, so
much, for the foundation to my faith that you helped me find. I pray that
God will continue to bless your ministry.

New Life Camp is awesome! I was a CIT this summer and there were a few girls
I knew from church in my cabin. I was SO blessed to see one of them, who I
had known for a long time, accept Jesus as her Savior. It was truly one of
the best experiences I have ever had. This camp is the best!!!
- Megan Finger
I attended camp during teen week, and I
think Camp New Life is awesome! God really has a lot in store for this
camp and I see Him everywhere throughout this program. Praise God!
thank you so much for providing a Christian camp and God fearing
counselors in which to run it. I look forward to next Summer so I can go
again!!
- Felicity Hiergesell
I have been coming to camp since 1994 and total I have seen probably over 100 kids come to Christ before my very eyes. To me camp is God's instrument for reaching kids in the Raleigh area and all over the US for that matter(I have had people from all over the east coast in my cabins over the years). There are not many ministries that gear towards kids, it is usually just teens and adults who are reached with ministries like this. At camp I've come closer to God because of the speakers and the examples of all of the counselors I've had. God has used camp in my life to touch me and call me to Childrens ministry especially after CIT'ing my first time in '99. I have learned tons of things at camp and at the age of 8 I rededicated my life to Christ there. I love camp and really want to be on staff one day. Phew thats all! Praise God
- Catherine Walker
I think New Life Camp is the coolest place! Not only do we have fun, but we
also get to learn about God, and what he wants for us. Thank you so much,
Mr. Bob, Mrs. Debbie, Mr. Bobby, Mrs. Page, and Mr. Aaron, for having this
camp! Also, thank you to all the counselors, and also, thank you for being a
great nurse, Eleanor!
- Brittany Pence
