- Carmen Dean

- Carmen Dean is a native Spanish speaker born in Bolivia, South America. After teaching Spanish levels 1 through the AP level and serving as the Department Chair of the Foreign Language Department for 6 years in a private Christian school, she returned to the homeschool community and taught Spanish 2 at New Life Camp. Carmen previously taught high school Spanish classes in her home to homeschool students while homeschooling her own children. Carmen has a B.S. degree in Psychology from NCSU.

- Cameron attended New Life Camp as a camper, CIT, and summer camp counselor before deciding to help year-round in 2006. He graduated from North Carolina State University with a bachelor’s in Fisheries and Wildlife in 2010. Along with serving at Director of Operations, he has taught several science activities in our Homeschool Enrichment program for the past several years, including Biology, Anatomy, and Environmental Science.
- Jon Hughes

- Mr. Hughes has an undergraduate degree from NC State in Business Management and also an MDIV in Christian Counseling from SEBTS. He has been teaching various math, science and Bible classes since 2001 and has served in 2 Christian Schools as a teacher and Administrator. With his own family, Mr. Hughes has experienced Christian School, Public School and Home School education.

- Aaron Miller

- Aaron was a former camper at New Life Camp. After a few years of serving on summer staff, He was asked to be the summer program director. At the end of that summer, he felt God's call to apply as a full-time missionary. He graduated from Tennessee Temple University where he studied Elementary Education. He came here in 2000 after he received his bachelor's degree. He has taught our HEA Social Studies for 5 years.

- Andrew began attending New Life Camp as a camper in 1996. He later became a CIT, then a summer staff member, and is now serving as an intern as the Bible Teaching Coordinator. Andrew graduated from the College at Southeastern in 2009 with a degree in Biblical Studies and English.
- Nathaniel Miller

- Nathaniel Miller has served on the full-time staff of New Life Camp for the past 9 years. He has spent many of those years teaching younger students various activities, such as soccer, basketball, chess, physical fitness, and stories. He became the Director of Homeschool Enrichment at New Life Camp in 2011. This will be his first year as an instructor for English I: Introduction to Literature. Nathaniel graduated from Tennessee Temple University in 2002 with a B.A. degree in Biblical Studies.

- Christina Musser has B.S. degrees in Biochemistry and Zoology and has been teaching homeschool science classes for the last 9 years. She has homeschooled her two children from kindergarten through 12th grade. Before having children, she worked for the EPA and NCSU in Biotechnology research.

- While trained as an Electrical Engineer, Denise Myers began her professional career as a computer programmer and Project Manager at IBM, then took time out to be home with her kids. As an at-home mom, she took her professional skills into the volunteer work-force at Trinity Academy, serving as PATT (Parents And Teachers at Trinity) president, soccer and volleyball coach, and volunteer photographer and also at her church as Head Teacher of the K-2 and 3-5 Children’s Church program. Her love for photography began in high school and as her kids grew up, she became ready to go back to work part time, so she started her own company 1 Impression 2 Remember in 2005 as a free-lance photographer both selling fine art note cards and as photographer for hire. In 2009, she combined everything that she had learned through photography, teaching and coaching together, wrote and taught her own Digital Photography Course at Trinity Academy of Raleigh and brought this course to New Life Camp's Home School Enrichment program in the fall of 2011.

- Trisha graduated from Tennessee Temple University with a degree in Elementary Education in 2001. She taught third grade in Ohio for two years. God called her to New Life Camp in 2003, joining the full time staff in 2004. She is thankful to God for bringing her to a place she loves to serve. Having studied art for a year at the University of Cincinnati, she also instructs drawing and sketching and art in our Homeschool Enrichment program. She has been teaching these activities since joining the staff.
- Nissa Rudd

- Nissa Rudd began serving at New Life Camp day camp at age 12 and has loved her experiences as a worker and cabin leader through the years. Nissa graduated with a BA in English from Meredith College in 2008. She loves working with children and has experience teaching and tutoring middle and high school students. She previously taught World Literature and Middle School Intro to Writing at New Life Camp. She and her husband, Thomas, recently welcomed their new little girl, Audrey, into their family.
- Michele Suffridge

- Michele Suffridge has a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Kentucky. Prior to being a home school mom of 5 children, she worked as a database developer, computer trainer and small business computer consultant. In addition to teaching classes on the corporate level, she also taught at Midlands Technical College in Columbia, SC. She has been homeschooling her children for the past 13 years. For the past 5 years she has been teaching science classes to homeschool students of all ages. Michele is also co-owner of North Carolina Freaks of History, a business specializing in NC history curriculum and workshops for the homeschool market.
- Kenna Walker

- Mrs. Walker has a B.A. in secondary social studies education with a concentration in history from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She was a long time youth worker at North Ridge Church in Raleigh, including 23 years as a Bible quiz coach at the church, district and international level. She taught social studies (including world history) in the Wake County school system and has taught homeschool enrichment classes at New Life Camp since 2008.
